Wabasso Standard Wabasso, Minn.
Each month, a class from St. Anne's and one from the public elementary [school] come to the Wabasso Healthcare Center to do a craft project with the residents.
Last Thursday, Vickie Daub's fifth-grade class came to Wabasso and made dogs out of construction paper to hang on the tree. Of course, each project has to have a connection with that month. Since St. Patrick's Day is one of March's big holidays (depending on when Easter is), the dogs' heads were in the shape of a clover.
Afterward, the students sang a couple of songs for residents, including the St. Anne’s school song.
