More than 800 hours of volunteer work at Beverly Healthcare Titusville were recognized recently with a luncheon and awards ceremony. Gifts of appreciation were presented to each of the volunteers.
Among the volunteers honored were Doris Goodwill, resident council president and Reminiscing volunteer; Bob Bemis, resident council vice president and resident volunteer; Joe Lamenskie, who plays music CDs for the residents on Sundays; Helen Proper, who provides one-on-one visits with residents three to four times each week; Peggy Wright, who is retired from Beverly as a nursing assistant and volunteers to assist with evening meals; Dolores “Dolly” Serafin, who calls bingo every Wednesday; Bruce Shrout, who calls bingo every Friday; and Candy Peyalt, who volunteers all day on Monday and other times as needed.
